Important information from the President

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the Chopin Society is cancelling all concerts until the Autumn, which means that - as well as the March concert - the April, May, June and July concerts will not now take place. We are very much hoping that things will be up and running again by September.

Many of you have renewed already. We have more new “Rollover” members than ever before as well, and you all have the right to expect a certain number of free concerts during the year.

Obviously, this year we will lose at least five of the concerts the Society had planned, so to make up for this the Committee has decided to hold a party at the beginning of 2021, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Chopin Society.

All members who have paid their renewal subscription or joined the Society this year will have free tickets to it. Of course, the future is not clear, nothing can be guaranteed, but this is our plan.

Meanwhile, I would like to thank all those who have continued to support the Society by renewing.

Please keep well and follow the Government guidelines, and I look forward to seeing you again when things have returned to normal.
